Committed

Doldrums, whether Monday morning or the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday, we all get them sometimes! I know I do!

It's so easy to really have a great time worshipping the Lord, for God's presence to fall on Sunday or Wednesday night just to have it fizzle out through out the week. The next day everything goes wrong, the kids are sick, someone treats you ugly at work...you get the picture.

Revelation 12:10-11 NLT

Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night. And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

The power and strength God gives us! Such a powerful verse, to know we have overcome because of his blood and the word of our testimony!

You know and I know, that we can't live from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Sunday! Our walk must be a daily commitment to Jesus Christ! He is committed to us.
The question is, "what is our excuse?" I know life can be tiring, it can wear us out! This life we live for the Lord is not a certain time or day that we live for him, but a every minute, every hour, everyday we live for him! It is a lifestyle, meaning it is my life, everything my life is a about.
We are children of the most high God, let's encourage one another, check on each other, pray for one another!

James 5:16

New International Version
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Staying committed to Jesus is not just tackling problems by yourself. Grab a friend, pray together and walk with God. Life will be so much sweeter!
